A great perfume is a keyhole into another world — one you can slip into on a Tuesday morning, or at 2am when you can't sleep and need somewhere else to be.
David and Kavi came to this sideways, the way the best things happen.
David taught himself to speak in smell. No formal training, no inherited vocabulary — just years of patient, obsessive listening until he'd built something genuinely his own. Kavi is an architect by training, which turns out to be exactly the right skill for constructing cities out of air.
Every fragrance we make is a story that got away from us a little.
The ones we love always do. Half-remembered myths. Places that probably don't exist but feel like they should. We write liner notes and make playlists and shoot films because the world inside the bottle is bigger than the bottle.
We also make things that are just really, really true — studies of actual plants, actual places, actual materials. Rendered faithfully, then woven into something you can carry on your wrist.
New York made. It couldn't be any other way. The city is pushy and alive and it gets into everything we do, whether we invite it or not.
